What is Tandem Skydiving?

Just imagine, you’re miles above the earth and the only sound you hear is the air whistling around you! The adrenaline rushes through your body and you are on top of the world…you can do anything!

Tandem skydiving is like nothing other and is a great way for just about anyone to jump out of a perfectly good airplane! After a brief ground school session, you’ll be suited up and will board the aircraft for a 15-minute ride to about 11,000 feet all while enjoying a beautiful bird’s eye view of the I-95 corridor spanning from Philadelphia all the way to Washington DC as well as downtown Baltimore and all its suburbs. As you reach jump altitude, you begin the hook up sequence, then your instructor will open the door and a rush of cool air will fill the cabin of the aircraft. The adrenaline starts to pump as you place your feet on the step of the aircraft looking down over two miles… then you’re off!

You feel like you’re flying rather than falling as the air rushes around you on a thrilling two- mile high, 120MPH freefall that lasts up to one minute. Then your instructor will activate your high performance parachute. You then descend slowly over Aberdeen, enjoying unmatched views of the Chesapeake Bay and Baltimore as your instructor makes slow carving turns through the sky, soaring like a bird for about an 8 to 12 minute parachute flight to a nice smooth landing at Harford County Airport.

Tandem skydives are available 6 days week (closed Tuesday)

Jumpers must :

• Be in good health
• Weigh less than 235lbs. Additional fees apply to customers over 200lbs
• Be at least 18 years of age or older. Max age 69
